Becoming a Leader
At Edna Karr High School, Hayward quickly rose as a defensive force. But what set him apart was leadership.
He became the player others looked to — not just to make the big play, but to set the tone. In film rooms, on sidelines, and throughout adversity, he showed that being a leader doesn’t start with talking. It starts with actions.
Academic Commitment
Hayward is not only a standout athlete — he is a Scholar Athlete who values academic excellence as part of his overall mission. His future includes football, education, and leadership far beyond the field.
The Mantra: BE HIM
"It’s not hype — it’s identity. It’s what makes Hayward stand out not just as an athlete, but as a young man of character."
